PERRY CONTINUES PLAYOFF RUN WITH BLOWOUT WIN OVER BROPHY
In a commanding performance, the Perry High School boys' basketball team secured a decisive 83-54 win over Brophy Prep, further solidifying their dominance this season.
Leading the charge for the Pumas was standout guard Bruch Branch III (#3), who orchestrated the offense with precision, scoring at will and setting up his teammates for high-percentage shots. His ability to break down the defense and create scoring opportunities proved to be too much for Brophy to handle.
On the other side, Daylen Sharper (#22) did everything he could to keep the Broncos in the game. Sharper showcased his scoring ability and defensive intensity, but even his best efforts couldn’t slow down the relentless attack of Perry.
Perry’s aggressive defense and up-tempo offense overwhelmed Brophy from the start, forcing turnovers and capitalizing on fast-break opportunities. With this statement win, the Pumas continue their march toward a state championship, with Branch III leading the way as their undeniable floor general.
As the postseason progresses, Perry will look to build on this momentum, with Branch III and his teammates focused on bringing home the title.
